Sandhills Mules & Horses

Quality Mules - Honest Horses - Natural Training

Price: $1,500.00

Zip is a coming 2 year old john mule out of a registered AQHA mare and the really nice jack, Mr. Magic.  He’s been handled since day one and is gentle and friendly in every way.  He  has had an old injury on his back leg but he is sound. His price is reduced because of this blemish.  This is a very nice mule with loads of potential.

Sandhills Zip

Price: $7,000.00

This has been Sarah’s personal mule for the past 4 years.  He is 16.2 hands, red dun, 10 years old.  Ridden extensively as a guide mule in the mountains and has packed out elk.  Has outshone horses at numerous natural horsemanship clinics.  Too many good qualities to list here.  He will only go to the right home.  Serious inquiries only. Call or e-mail for  more info.

Hickory

Price: $1600.00

This is a nice stout gelding about 15 hands.  Not spooky at all, very gentle and laid back.  Looks to be 10-11 years old.  Plenty of years left.  This is the kind that will just work for you year in and year out.

T.B.H. (That Bay Horse)

Price: $1700.00

This 15 year old gelding is a pleasure horse deluxe that is absolutely gorgeous to look at.  Impeccable ground manners and a smooth ride in every way.  He’s an easy keeper.  Just had his teeth floated in mid-January.  Has a beautiful neck rein and rocking horse lope.

Two Socks

Price: $1450.00

This gelding has very good ground manners and a really nice handle on him.  Laid back, not spooky and will watch a cow.  He’s a pretty red roan.  My vet aged him at 16 when we floated his teeth mid-January.  This is a “ranchy” horse that may not be the flashiest but knows how to work all day and get a job done.

Sandhills Mules & Horses Return Policy

We believe that it can take some time for a horse or mule to become accustomed to their new environment, both physically and mentally.  Please understand that because of this, most animals will act a bit differently at their new home for a little while.  We encourage you to start using your new horse or mule as soon as possible, however, allow them a couple weeks to become more comfortable in their new surroundings and start acting like they did when you picked them up.

If you feel that the horse or mule you purchased from us was grossly misrepresented and absolutely will not work, you may exchange that animal for another from us, provided that you have not had your animal for longer than one month and have given the animal a fair and honest chance to succeed in your operation.

We pledge to always give you our honest opinion regarding our horses and mules prior to purchase.  However, we realize that some animals just don’t work in specific situations.  The only way to really find that out is to just try it.  We feel this is a fair way to treat all parties involved, including our animals.  Please do not abuse this policy.
